Thai Delight Restaurant

Thai Delight, a very nice, mom and daughter operation in a small old house converted to a restaurant. Limited seating, maybe 6 tables. The parking lot is cramped, not much bigger than the inside of the restaurant. The daughter is the frontwoman for the operation. She is very proud of her and her mother’s cooking, and she should be. It is good, fresh and well prepared. From the time you sit down, until you leave, you are going to hear that their food is the best Thai food outside of Bangkok. And according to her, every other Thai restaurant in NW Arkansas or Oklahoma is subpar, not authentic; the others don’t know how to cook. Kept reminding me that they do not use green peppers or onion. An experience I wasn’t prepared for, an owner gushing with in-your-face exuberance. She will wear you down, my brain hurt when I left. Hell, I don’t know if it was authentic or not. I haven’t been to Thailand. Don’t really care. It makes no difference. It boils down to, did I like the food or not. Our meals started with the Thai eggrolls. These were freshly made, delivered to the table hot. Delicious. I especially like the dipping sauce. Not too sweet and a little heat. My meal was the Thai Garden Delight Chicken. Very fresh vegetables, seasoned to a perfect medium heat. My wife had the Pineapple Fried Rice. A large fresh tasting plate of food. She enjoyed it. Bottom line, the food and the dining experience didn’t win me over. I have another Thai place in NW Arkansas that I like better.

Such a wonderful experience! True authentic Thai food, paired with an effort for personalization and friendship. This place reminded me of what the American dream actually looks like. Connie and her Mama are the life of the place and will bring you back time and time again.

Wow! What an incredible experience! From the moment we walked into Thai Delight, we felt like we were guests in someone's home. The amazing owner, Connie, greeted us with the warmest smile, took our order personally, and walked us through the menu with such passion and detail. She even called us by name throughout our meal! This is hands-down the best and most authentic Thai food in Northwest Arkansas. Connie made sure we were happy and enjoying every moment! Thai Delight isn’t just a restaurant, it’s an experience. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. If you love Thai food, or just love amazing food and even better hospitality, do not miss this gem! P. S. Trust Connie on the spice levels. I usually get a 3 or medium at other Thai places. She suggested I get "Little" which is their smallest amount of spice. I decided to go against her suggestion and went up to "Lite" and that was still amazing but was making my nose run a little bit. I am going to go down to Lite next time.

My husband picked this restaurant the first time because of the time he spent in the military in Thailand. He was looking for authentic Thai food, and it is definitely at this place! He ordered shrimp pod Thai and I ordered cashew chicken and both were very good. The eggrolls are so good that we ordered extra to carry out. We would highly recommend this place. The owner and her mother, were both so friendly and helpful. From Bangkok.

First time here for our family of 5 and we were WOWED. Cooked to order, fresh, and 100% AUTHENTIC. Every dish we had was 10/10. Sweet Connie and her sweet little 80 year old mom are so welcoming and they are doing it ALL! We really enjoyed getting educated on REAL DEAL Thai cooking from these experts. This is the best Thai food I’ve had anywhere. From Pad Thai to the curry and rice dishes, we’ve never been disappointed. It is some of our kids’ favorite food as well. Service is excellent and provides a wonderful and memorable experience. The mother/daughter pair adds so much charm to the place. I love spicy food and they do it up right. Highly recommend.

Very very very good food and amazing service. We’re from Louisiana and this is the best Thai food we have had in our life. Red chicken curry. Overall 10 out of 5 stars!!!

Delight is right!! A delightful experience from start to finish. This mom and daughter shop does not disappoint. I've never met kinder restaurant owners. The building is unassuming but the food and the service are spectacular. Am I emotional about a Thai restaurant? Maybe. It was that good. Food was top notch. Hot, fresh, flavorful, not full of sugar and msg. The cheese rolls were fantastic! She decided we needed to try the egg rolls too, free of charge, and she was right! Our toddler was with us and they treated her with such kindness! They brought her out a small scoop of rice while we waited and then sent another one home with us. To finish off a perfect meal, mini icecream cones for us on our way out. Truly terrific. We'll be back next time we're in town. Springdale, we're jealous of this hidden gem!
